A POETIC STORY ABOUT LOVE AND restricted capability of man to handle it with respect. Heartbreaking story about priest's wife and the summer guest of the parsonage. Epoque considering 1890-century and it's ideological changes and role of a woman in patriarchal world.

"Do YOU BELIEVE that Torsten is a messiah?"
THE FILM TELLS A STORY ABOUT MAN WHO FOUNDS A COMMUNITY imitating the Tolstoyan-anarchistic ideology in his home on an island surrouded by the sea. Torsten is a fisher and owns an organic farm. The members of small community are Nadja, an unemployed architect, Outi, Jehovas Witness and Maria, eccentric from Rautalampi. Sect has activities and also lectures of philosophy as their daily work. Torsten teaches that the world can be changed by the means of the community reaching for universal solidarity and fraternity. But effort is not as easy as Torsten has planned.

MAN IS LIVING ALONE IN A HOUSE deep in the forest, but why? This is not fearytale but opposite. Human race has made one of it's history's most biggest error and permanent nuclear winter is here. One man has survived and he is living with great effort from what nature offers to him.
Film is a sad but poetic story of human's greed and anger which have unpleasent consequences.

"Is the ARISTOTELIAN IDEA of ideas TRUE OR NOT?"
PETRI LUNDBERG IS THE PRIEST of a small city parish. He inherits an old cottage from his uncle. Petri travels to the countryside to spend the summer holiday in the cottage. He gets new friends there and, being a kind person, he offers them a place to stay for a while. Unfortunately, the guests are not behaving themselves and Petri´s theological thoughts of religion get competitive challenges from real persons. Finally, he has to find out himself, if the story of the female victim executed in the courtyard during the civil war, is true or not.

THE FILM TELS ABOUT A YOUNG ARCHITECT MARIA who comes to northern town to finish her thesis on architecture and it phenomenology. In the town there is living her brother Jani with his new girlfriend Nina. The three of them spend time together and Maria seduces naive Nina to start a relationship with her in the back of Jani. The relationship ends almost as soon as it started and it has more effect on Maris's life than is resonable.
